India is a whirlwind of tastes, smells, colors, and cultures. It’s a place like no other on the map. One of the most famous areas in the country is undoubtedly the Golden Triangle, which connects the capital Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur.

This cycling tour takes you on an adventure through the Golden Triangle and so much more. If you think that you have seen India, then think again. This trip strips away the layers between you and the destination at hand and gives you a fresh look at this beautiful country.

Day 1

Arrival in New Delhi

Arrive in New Delhi and make your way to the hotel. Airport transfers available upon request.

Day 2


After breakfast, drive to Bharatpur.

En-route, visit the famous Taj Mahal in Agra. Agra is known as a thriving carpet industry where you can also find leather workers and sandstone and marble sculptors. Taj Mahal, of course, is one of the greatest love stories ever told and took over 17 years to complete.

After breakfast, get fitted for a bike and start your cycling adventure. First off, you’ll do a warm up round at the Bharatpur Sanctuary and village, and, later on, make your way to Vanaashraya.

Set amid a sprawling 12 acres of lunch landscaping and surrounded by a lake, Vanaashraya offers you a real jungle ambience created by perfect natural surroundings.

There will be a 3-km stretch en route that will be uphill.

After a relaxing morning, cycle to Mansarovar Lake and Vishal Garh. The total length of the route is 35 km.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional Rajasthan dance show by a local Jogi community.

After breakfast hop on your bike and start your journey through the countryside. Your route will take you past the Bhangarh Fort.

Upon arrival in Kanota, check into your hotel. Established in 1872, the Royal Castle of Kanota is one of the grand heritage resorts in Jaipur. The castle of Kanota was used as a backdrop for the Viceroy Club in the film ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’.

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur.

Jaipur’s past is never too far from hand. The city of victory, Jaipur presides over the fascinating desert state and its surrounded by rugged hills, each crowned by a formidable fort. The palaces and forts of yesterday that were witness to royal processions and splendour are now living monuments.

You will take the tour on your bikes and will visit famous places like the Amber Fort, Nyala village, and Maharaja Mansingh.

Day 7


After breakfast, cycle to the Ranthambhore National Park. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and afterwards embark on a jeep safari in the national park to attempt catching a glimpse of the elusive tiger.

Ranthambhore used to be a scene of the royal hunting parties. Today, it is famous for its tigers and is one of the best places in the country to see these majestic predators in the wild. However, its royal heritage prevails and manifests itself in the picturesque ruins that dot the park.

Embark on a journey to Bundi. Your route will take you through beautiful villages and the Aravali hills. It is a scenic ash felt road, heading southwest, going past fields and lakes.

Bundi itself is a former capital of a once princely state of Rajasthan that fills a narrow valley in the oldest hills of India. The town sits still and massed, spreading across the floor of the valley and straggling up the bare hills.

Your accommodation in Bundi will be a charming boutique hotel built against rampart walls of Bundi Garh Palace.

Day 9


After breakfast, cycle to the castle of Bijapur. You will arrive there in the afternoon and the rest of the day will be at leisure.

Located in the hills and surrounded by forests of Jacaranda and Flame of the Forest, overlooking the farmlands in the valley, the castle of Bijapur is a 16th-century castle converted into a heritage hotel. The castle is still home to the ruling family who run it as a hotel for people to stay while exploring the area.

You’ll spend the day exploring Bijapur. You’ll cycle to a nearby wildlife sanctuary where one can find leopards, chinkaras, spotted deer, birds, crocodiles and wild boar. It is an ideal destination for travelers who want to experience both the incredible wilderness and rich history of the region.

Cycling around the area also offers a rare glimpse into the vibrant and colorful essence of the rural India. The magnificent landscape is fascinating as you make your way through the countryside and jungle.

In the morning, drive to Chittorgarh and check into your hotel. Later on, cycle to the Chittorgarh Fort and explore this stunning place.

Chittorgarh, once the capital of the Sisodia Rajputs of Mewar, represents the quintessence of Rajput pride and valour. It was there that the chivalrous Rajputs – men and women – repeatedly gave up their lives, preferring death to dishonor and surrender.

Udaipur – Delhi

After breakfast, take the transfer to the airport and a flight to Delhi.

Upon landing in New Delhi, check into your hotel. The rest of the day will be free to explore the city on your own.

Departure from Delhi

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and make your way to the airport. Airport transfers available upon request.

Tour Cost and Group Size

The final cost of the tour is determined 45 days before departure when the group is automatically closed. Until that point, in case of vacancies, it is possible to join the group and, therefore, lower the cost for everyone.
