Nepal's currency is the Nepalese Rupee (NPR). There are ATMs in Kathmandu that take Visa, Mastercard, and Visa Electron cards if you wish to take cash out in Nepal. Money can be exchanged at exchange offices locally.

Please make sure to have € 20-25 per day for meals not included in the package. Also, remember to have money for visa and tipping purposes.

The tipping culture in Nepal does not have any strict rules. However, it is good to remember that it is always voluntary.
